The yearn to learn is ceaseless. In fact, this thirst should never be quenched. When one adopts such thoughts, it makes him progressive. And the progress of one, creates an environment conducive for others to join-in. Question was – how to go about it? Answer was simple. We decided to create a platform, where we invite the learned to unlearn themselves. In process, enriching the discerning or the naïve. With the mission that ‘one must live a better life than yesterday’ the foundation of Dharam Sajjan Trust was laid in 1995.
The dedicated two decades of Dharam Sajjan Trust reveal that we embraced not just one sector, but many which touch our lives. In sync or in contrast we have taken initiatives in several fields – from arts to sexual awareness; literature to pollution; theatre to democratic rights; wildlife to urban cityscapes; creative writing to improvement of Hindi hand-writing; painting to photography; adolescence education to women empowerment. And so on. Centre for Life in Bikaner, shall be a place where thoughts would breed, art would add colors and voices will resonate. We will continue to do, what we have been doing.
